Ballerinas
We were given a bag of hand-me-down toys and dress-ups just when I wasn't sure we would make it through the winter without something new to play with. Emma and Maddie particularly LOVE the ballet shoes and dresses. They spent a whole morning dancing around in these. Thanks, Paige, for sharing your things with us!

Ballroom Dancing
I just realized that I have never blogged about the ballroom dancing classes that Jared and I took. There were three Saturday classes, and we had our last class on Saturday. The teacher also taught a Salsa class right after the ballroom class, so Jared and I stayed for those, too. In three classes we learned the waltz, foxtrot, tango, mambo, salsa, cha-cha, merengue and bits and pieces of a few others. I am very spoiled because my husband was one of probably three guys who wasn't dragged to class. He was actually very excited about the classes and an excellent dancer.
All of the dances were fun, but my favorite dance was the salsa. I struggled with the Tango the most because for some reason my counting was off and I kept bumping Jared's knee with mine. I also struggled with the Merengue a little bit, too, because it is hard for me to move my hips like that normally, let alone when I am pregnant.
One night, all of the doors leading to the hall with the bathrooms were locked, so we were there for almost 3 hours with no bathroom. Normally that would make me a little nervous since I seem to always be making bathroom runs, but throw in a lot of moving around (we were working on the salsa and merengue), and we have some serious problems. Don't worry, I made it, but I have never been so happy to see my house!
We absolutely LOVE dancing and hope we will be able to keep dancing. It is a lot of fun!
