4 years old!!

How we love this sweet girl!

She wanted a Mickey Mouse party, the girl one... by the end of the birthday festivities we were actually calling her Minnie Mouse, though. :)

We had her family party last night.  At the end of every line of the song "Happy Birthday", she would try to blow out the candles.  Jared kept having to pull them away so they were not blown out prematurely.

Emma's cousin Aubrey colored a picture for Emma and they were so sweet together as Emma opened it, Aubrey explained it, and Emma gave Aubrey a hug.

Today we had a little friend party.  Each child took turns giving Emma her present.  They would all ooh and ahh appropriately over the gift, wait for Emma to say thank you and give them a hug, and the next child would present their gift.  They are all such sweet kids, and it made Emma's day to have them over.

Everyone knows how much Emma's loves to color and draw, and she was given a couple of coloring books, crayons, etc.  She was also given this little easel that you can clip coloring pages onto, store your markers in, and write with chalk on the other side.  She spent TWO HOURS coloring this afternoon/evening.  We had to forcibly remove it from the table so we could eat dinner.  Too much fun!
See how bright it was when I took the first picture?  And that it is getting dark in the next picture?  I'm not exaggerating about it being two hours!

More pictures of the Minnie Mouse cupcakes.  So cute and easy!
